      FAQs

      What is early intervention?

Early interventions is a proactive strategy to occur at or before preschool age. Our services and programs help children gain the basic skills such as, physical skills, thinking skills, communication skills, and socio-emotional skills. Because children’s brain is still forming, meaning it is more “plastic” or changeable than at older ages, treatments and services have a better chance of being long term effective.

What early intervention services do you provide?

Our early interventions services are carefully determined based on a comprehensive, coordinated and team-based evaluation. Individualized child-family intervention plans outline recommended intervention activities, programs and training. All of our services and activities are family centered and linguistically responsive. It bases training and activities on highest quality evidence available to give children the best start possible, but also the best chance of developing to their fullest potential.

How long and how often are educational and developmental services provided?

Because each child is unique and every family is different, intervention activities and sessions are carefully and systematically planned to provide developmentally appropriate educational activities. We aim to address identified objectives, support caregivers and help families navigate through the community support systems. We believe that the success of our sessions is creating a comprehensive personalized plan of care!

Where do I bring my child for the intervention activities?

Services are developmentally supportive and promote children’s participation in their natural environments. Therefore, intervention activities can be scheduled in the child’s natural environment, such as home or preschool, in our office, or via web based sessions.

      How much will services cost?

The first consultation is always free. During this ½ hour meeting, you  our team representatives will help you determine what kind of evaluation and services your child and family might need. Then, a plan is personalized based on your family needs.

How are educational and developmental services provided?

Low student-to-teacher ratio will allow sufficient amounts of 1-on-1 time. individual or small-group instruction is available to meet specific individualized goals.

      What are shadowing services?
